Libby is the creator of insect lab. which customizes real insects with antique parts and other technological components. Jason Wu was inspired by these for his feminine resort collection, Notice detailing, insect motifs and microscopic patterns!
Anna Sui: Art Nouveau movement.
Sui's trademark bohemian prints took an Nouveau turn. Turning to Anna's moodboard for the resort collection, it has curved lines,symmetrical shapes and this shows in the resort line up of Sui's.
Giles: Classical Sculpture.
For Deacon's resort 2013 collection its coherent that he is inspired by classical statues of the heart of the countryside, North Yorkshire's Castle Howard. Castle Howard is one of England's grand private mansions.
Giles has even managed to get the turns and shapes of the statues reprinted onto the fabric for the design.
Helmut Lang: Kate MccGwire.
Kate MccGuire is and intense artist, who's work is constructed by feathers and is more tan visually awe-inspiring and mildly forever unsettling. Designers Nicole and Michael of Lang used Kate's work on the basis of absract print that clearly mimicked paterns and natural tones and harmonizes her work.
